Spot.io
Spot by NetApp was a suite of cloud-native tools built to optimize cloud infrastructure and lower container costs with analytics and monitoring.
In my time at NetApp, I ran the spot.io marketing site as the lead developer. I improved the development pipeline, reconnected siloed teams, and coordinated the handoff of the web property as part of a company divestiture in January 2025.
Streamlined development
My success as lead developer involved acting as a liaison between an external development agency and non-technical internal teams. I took over the deployment pipeline, filled a gap between multiple teams, and led weekly check-ins to keep all stakeholders in alignment with new and ongoing site initiatives.

Sale to Flexera
In January 2025, Spot was sold to Flexera, an Illinois-based software company. My role in the divestiture included the following:
- Mapping out an order of operations for the web property handoff that accounted for legal deadlines and expectations from both NetApp and Flexera
- Leading calls with stakeholders from NetApp and Flexera to field questions, set schedules for phasing out company tools, and manage integrations with various teams affected by the sale
- Working closely with Flexera’s developers throughout to answer questions and guide them through the site’s codebase to make the handoff seamless
- Running the final code deployment on the night of the legal sale to rebrand spot.io and update the database with Flexera’s updates before coordinating the domain transfer.
